Exhibiting in Northern Ireland
Colin recently exhibited new work alongside his wife, ceramicist Sylvia Dales, at the Graffan Gallery, WWT Castle Espie, in Comber, Northern Ireland. The exhibition ran from 23 May to 21 June 2026.
Colin’s recent paintings continue to draw on his background in fine art restoration — layered and textured work exploring time, erosion and structure, with this body of work shaped in part by the water and light at Castle Espie itself.
Sylvia’s ceramic pieces are made using terra sigillata and smoke-firing techniques, drawing on Etruscan and Korean pottery traditions.
